Orange Biscuits

ORANGE BISCUITS

Ingredients

    Sauce-
  • 1/2 cup or more butter
  • 3/4 cups orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp orange peel
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Dough-

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Directions

  1. Combine sauce ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil – cook for a minute.
  2. Combine dough first two dough ingredients Bisquick and water and fork into soft dough – beat vigorously 20 strokes.
  3. Gently smooth dough into a ball. Roll into a rectangle.
  4. Spread butter, cinnamon, and sugar on top and roll the dough into a jelly roll shape. 5. Slice the roll into 10 – 12 pieces and place into a round buttered tin.
  5. Pour the sauce over the rolls.
  6. Bake 10 – 15 minutes in a 450 degree oven.

These rolls along with a cup of coffee and close friends make for a great Saturday morning.
